Thought Question: Gratitude

Do you have something to complain about? Or, perhaps something to be grateful for?

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.” - Buddha

“Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.” – Margaret Cousins

What I am Grateful for:

Goodness – people moved by compassion to aid fellow human beings, making the world brighter.

Family – the unconditional love they give me.

Friends – gives my life more meaning.

Health – both in body and mind.

Wisdom – the great ideas of great minds.

Beauty – children's laughter, the sun, music, and so forth.

Country – to live in one of the best countries in the world.

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." - John F. Kennedy

If you feel a little blue, think about all the good things in your life. There are many things in your life for which to be grateful. So, what are you grateful for?
